Wonderful Arabic VCDs for the Whole Family.

While browsing through my chat box, one message got the attention of my eyes. Yes, I think I've read it before but decided to postpone the reply or maybe I miss look the message. I would like to apologise to aciqs for the late reply. Hopefully this entry will answer you question.

So, as a tribute to her and to all of you who would want to expose your family with Arabic, let's have a look at the VCD.

Animals Olympiad Vol 1 and 2

The content is a kind of cartoon series called Animals Olympiad or the Olympic for Animals. One episode lasted for only 5 minutes. It's really fun to watch even though you don't understand Arabic but you still can grasp the meaning of what the sports presenter (a green snake with a baseball cap) said by looking at the animals in action.

I watched it with my 30 year old sister and laugh out loud at the funny characters. I'm sure kids especially the one who likes sport will like the Olympic for Animals VCD. It's really a simple cartoon.

Last Day and a Visit from PTS Sales Agent

Hubby & me at our stall before closing time of the last day. We finish packing everything (unsold books, shelves and display tools) right before 11.20 pm. We were the last participants walking out of the Dewan Balai Islam last night. Tired but quite satisfied. Alhamdulillah.
PTS Sales Agent, En. Azari came to visit us last night. Thanks to him and PTS, almost all 'novel remaja' were sold out. Seems like we can pay more to PTS for the books that they have supplied us. En. Azari said that the organizer have more PTS children and teenager's books but we sold more of the same titles.
Adik was the most sought after person at our stall because she knows almost all the stories.

Alhamdulillah, we finish our 'pesta buku' with a good sales. Thank you En Azari for coming and checking on us. Everytime I see the PTS's books, I feel my responsibility to pay my debt. We are just a small scale bookstore that have to stand on our own two feet to support all the cost and we are still trying for some loans or investments. Hopefully, we'll succeed.
